Before listing an item on Details.at, you should carefully read any contracts that you have entered into that might limit your right to sell your item on Details.at. Some items, such as airline tickets, coupons, or event tickets , have terms printed right on the item that may limit a seller's ability to sell that item. In other cases, such as when you are distributing a company's products, you may have signed a separate contract with them.
Details.at does not search for items that may raise these types of issues, nor can it review copies of private contracts, or adjudicate or take sides in private contract disputes. However, we want you to be aware that listing items in violation of your contractual obligations could put you at risk with third parties or potentially result in the ending of your auction listing. Details.at therefore urges that you not list any item until you have reviewed any relevant contracts or agreements, and are confident you can legally sell it on Details.at.
Here are some examples of situations that may raise contract issues:
� You purchase roundtrip tickets to Vail, Colorado using your frequent flyer miles, but break your leg mountain biking two weeks before the trip. You want to sell your tickets on Details.at, but the tickets state on the back that they are "non-transferable"
� You sell vacuum cleaners door to door, and decide you want to start selling them on Details.at, but the contract you entered into with your supplier says you cannot sell their products on the Internet.
� You clip a coupon from the newspaper-buy one bag of kitty litter and get a second bag free. You want to list the coupon on Details.at, but the coupon says it is "not for sale or transfer."
� You want to sell encyclopedias on Details.at, but the contract you entered into with the encyclopedia publisher says you can only sell their products in Idaho.
Where a copyrighted works is involved, such as a image, books, or fabrics, listing an item in violation of a private contract could also constitute a copyright or trademark infringement.
